About the Game
EverSea is a strategic board game for 2-4 players that combines resource management, tactical positioning, and player interaction. In "EverSea", you will become a fearless explorer or a cunning pirate, and steer your ship towards the legendary treasure. This sea is full of unknowns and dangers, and the mysterious Bermuda Triangle is waiting for you to explore.
The game features a unique resource system that creates dynamic gameplay where collect valuable resources on your journey and trade them for gold at port. Making the wisest choices at critical moments is the key to victory.

How to Play
Setup
- Open the map: Open the game map and place your chess pieces.
- Each player selects a color and takes corresponding pieces
- Each player receives 4 HP (Health Point) tokens.
- Distribute starting resources to each player
- Determining the Order: All players roll the dice to determine the order in which they act, with the player with the highest roll going first. Players act in order during each round.
Game Flow
The game is played in rounds, with each player taking turns:
- Action Phase: At the beginning of your turn, you receive 2 Fuel Cards.
- Event Phase: Roll the dice once, and the number you roll determines the number of spaces your chess piece can advance.
- Cleanup: Check victory conditions and prepare for next turn
Winning the Game
The game ends when one of these conditions is met:
- When the first player reaches the finish line
- The health of all players except 1 player is reset to zero.
- The game deck is exhausted
The player with the highest total gold coins (the total value of all resource cards plus the gold coins held) wins.

Design Process
Concept Development
The core concept of this game stems from a deep interest in the world-renowned Bermuda Triangle. Inspired by the mysterious disappearances of planes and ships in the region, the development team aimed to create an adventure experience filled with uncertainty, danger, and exploration.
Prototyping & Testing
Players expressed satisfaction with the game's overall pacing and core gameplay, quickly grasping the importance of item cards and resource crafting.
Theme and Immersion: Players were particularly drawn to the mysterious Bermuda theme and the explorer-pirate identity mechanics, believing they enhanced the game's strategic nature.
Event System: Random events like weather and encounters add significant excitement and tension to the game, especially when responding to various emergencies.
Strategic Depth: The mission system and port trading mechanics require players to make thoughtful decisions. How to allocate fuel, choose missions, and deal with interference from other players becomes crucial to the game.
